This has a Scapin-esque serial, I heard Scapin made frames for Bianchi (or was it Fratelli Barco)

Same format, but different stamping for the serial.

If it uses letters the same then I think the D would mean 1994.

Nice catch for a reasonable price. The seller is very close to where I live, I even considered buying it but decided to save something for the restoration of my NTH. I would personally get rid of all the vintage carbon because brittle composite scares me to death. No offence: I still can’t wait to see some better pics!

1994 makes sense. As the seller said this was released 93/94
I’m really looking forward to it. The only ones I’ve seen (one yellow and one Celeste) have been exquisitely built and kept and very expensive apart from a tatty example which Art Bikes (in a different shade of blue) have (also quite pricey)

I like vintage WR carbon! Not sure about the saddle but the stem is first gen around 94.
I’d love to treat it to some FiR parts

I at first thought it was repainted but it has the same colour inside the frame and no sign of anything else
