I Love those Hadrill Horstmann lamps.

Nice clean up, and good work finding one with the glass cover flap still attached


I am cleaning and rewiring a couple just now.

I'm glad too that this thread took off - you lot have some reaaally nice bits and bobs! I've a Robin Day Hillestak desk with a black top, similar to this, and an original Hille/ Robin Day Tricorne tray. Both covered in crud so no point photographing. An Ernest Race chair in the corner of the bedroom covered in clothes. Some enamel signs including a National Cyclists Union one and some enamel pub/ beer brand trays on the kitchen wall.

I'm also a (as a colleague put it - a "lamp-W-anchor") - if you can be ar$ed going on BBC Iplayer I'm the tool at 11:52 on the 'Shuttleworth 3' edition of the Antiques Roadshow with 3 of the 7 lamps I took along. A good return on them though!

We'll watch that next time we are getting on well enough to snuggle up in front of the TV, (which is a design classic but way too modern for this thread!).

We have sold with them twice, I wouldn't buy from them though!

To connect the thread to the community I bought the below sideboard (White and Newton) from @pete_mcc and later sold it on to @27motorhead as it didn't fit in our new house (sad face). I bought a lovely lamp to go in it's place though.
