Anyone ID these rigid forks?

Came across a silly cheap alloy framed bike which upon closer inspection (under the grime) had some mid range parts attached (XT , Etc) which led me to believe it was something decent. It had these forks attached and I’ve no idea what they are?

Saracen would make sense from the logo. Bike I would say is mid 90s. XT M739 brakes , UN73BB etc.

Guessing not desirable then?

Forks, being Struts will be wanted by anyone wanting a set of Struts and does not mind the logo.

Do they have tange on the dropout or a name/date on the steerer tube.. Or too much paint?

Had a close look and it says “T . Tange Made” on the steerer. Also has a number 9 but nothing next to it.
