American Content...

Hi everyone...

its been a while since i posted.. works killing
i had to grab this frame just to release some stress.. hahaaa

ok.. this frame...

Owner of the shop called me one morning, they were sorting out some stocks and uncovered this SteepleJack coated in dirt n grime... He said something like "hey jeff... you should come down to my store now... i found something real colorful... a AMERICAN.. " Though i know its not a Berylium one.. ( fyi, my indonesian boss bought that.. not german ), i knew i had to have it..

ANyways..fast forward, i had a quick "Brunch", flew there, haggle on the $ and brought it home along with a COMPLITE

Spend a lil time cleaning it up and woah.. no scratches to the lovely ano job !!!

I remember it as a jump frame...( not sure if anyone will jump it though ) thus the short seat tube and long top tube. Guess the welded bit is to strengthen its headtube area..

Kev is right... a 24 rear and a 26 front... hmm... just curious... any reason why i shdnt clamp the top tube ???

haaaaaahahaha.. keepers or not.. we'll seee..

Keep you guys posted on the COMPLITE soon

i had one of those lovely stems.. but sold it to mr ship along with my AMERICAN M16.. they have matching colours n i know i had to let him have it...

I am not familiar with the Steeplejack model? must have been something they did towards the end? Think Montaneus, Breezer, M16, Comp lite, Tandem, road bike just not familiar with the Steeplejack. Amazing colors.......
