Scotts on the Rocks!

Smoke/Smoke indeed. Think Dart came a couple of years later, no? The repro are good value. Old looks but modern rubber compounds. Feels a bit weird and wobbly though when riding those huge knobs again.

Great thread @Tomac23, I too am an early Scott fan (but of the 1992 persuasion) and have a 1992 Superlite (owned from new) and a 1992 Super Evolution and am looking for a 1992 Super America and a 1992 Ultimate CST to complete the Alloy set. The bike you bought in Nottingham probably came from "Super Cycles" on Mansfield Road, who were big Scott dealers BITD. The shop is long gone but they now have associations with Onza and Rock and Roll bikes.

Thanks for the comments @yakboy good to meet another Scott fan. I’ve seen a couple of your builds. Very nice. I’m listing a few Scott things in the next couple of weeks that might be of interest. I’ll message you

I appreciate there’s been a pause on this thread for a couple of weeks but finally an update..

I have to admit that i can source parts but I’m no builder. So in this case I needed help from a friend to build this so thank you @clockwork davo i know it’s cliche but sometimes teamwork gets the best results and in this case the end result is this beauty.

Really happy with it. 1990 Scott Superlite

More photos and build spec to follow
