98 GT LTS2000 bottom bracket shell size

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. I need to know the bb shell width for my 98 LTS 2000, bikepedia says 68mm but I'm not 100% sure thats true?? please help. cheers Rob

This spec list says 68mm too http://www.bikesdetails.info/GT_LTS-2000_DS_1998.html it's 5mm to the next size BB so you should be able to see the size with a tape measure (unlike stupid seat post sizes Grrrrr)

i would say 68, its the earlier model lts1/team thats 73

Ah right cool, its just my sts, zas and Lobo are all 73mm. I dont have the tools to remove octalink cranks or bb so I may just have to wait to find out when it goes to the shop.

My GT LTS 3000 DS has a 73mm bottom bracket width!
