96 S Works M2 brake boss

Anyone know the thread pitch and size for this frame? I don't have any that fit and do not want to purchase a few sets trying to get the right size. I'll post pics soon, have a silver one that is in my size and need to do a bit of research on it. Very light frame with decals intact but a bit worn.

As promised, pics. I noticed an L in the serial so assume 17 3/4" c-t-t is a large. Seems it was being stripped of clear but never finished. Not sure I want to continue or leave as is. Der hanger was installed and fits well but not too precise, anyone know which manufacturer and part number would be correct for the frame?

I have a Wheels Manufacturing #13 der hanger on there but looks a bit sloppy. Who makes a hanger and what PN? That would be the 2nd and 3rd question.

I have one of those rear mech hangers, or a UK equivalent, on my 1995 M2 Stumpjumper and it works - and looks - fine

The wheelmfg site provides menu options to identify if its the right model.

Thanks for the confirmation of the #13 Repacker. I guess it was a replacement for many models so may not be a perfect fit on all of them. Didn't want to snap it off while far from home.

So the journey begins to make this a very nice bike. Have a bunch of parts to use but not sure they will be appropriate for the serial number. I'm told it is a late 96 so I will use the stuff I have for now and swap as I get M739 pieces. First off, wheelset. Hugi Compact with I think what would be correct rims, had them on a P21 and snatched. M737 parts and M739 V-brakes. CK headsets, can't decide on color, both no logo. Bars I have that would be fit for a Queen/King. Fork that I have that is period correct but not specked. Cranks are not engraved version so keeping an eye open for some now. I do want to refinish the frame but I am at crossroads. What was that clearcoat on the frame? Has a green or gold tint to it and if you look closely a lot has been removed. Does anyone have an answer for the clear? Oh, Ringle Ti skewers, a little bling.

The Z21 rims would have been from 1995, I would think a 96 or 97 model would have had Mavic 217 Rims. The tyres you have there are from 1997, in 96 they were still amber walls.
I can't find any catalog or pics of a 96 or 97 in anything remotely silver colour. 97 S Works was Dew Green or Team Red in the UK at least.

I did notice the 97 models had the "bi-conical bridge" (see top right of this catalog image) which your one has, pics of the 96 M2s I can find on the 'net do not have this bridge, so I would say this is a 97 model, with serial number showing made in 96. Colour yet to be explained....

And your original Brake boss question is still open too. Can't help there though.
