80's Gary Fisher Hoo-Koo-E-Koo - handlebar markings, thoughts?

Retro Newbie
hi all, Irecently got a semi-decrepit '87 (I think) Gary Fisher Hoo-Koo-E-Koo, and the black handlebars have what appear to be factory applied native-style symbols/graphics on them. The teal on these matches the frame perfectly, and they definitely seem screened on or similar, not hand painted that I can tell. Anyways, I've looked online but can't find any other similar HKEK bikes with these gfx, not one single pic. Anyone seen these before??

Thanks!

Greg V.

I 'm positive i have seen that type of marking on early GF's . LBS In Hereford used to sell GF's and is where i bought mine. The UK sold bikes always seemed a little bit different to the ROW. Also sure i have seen it in other colour ways, red???

Thanks for that info Montair! Thought I was going nuts possibly. The bike is located west coast of Canada, no idea where it would have come from initially of course.

Thanks!
