26" wheelset from my dead kona humu. £40


Rear unbranded black hub (might eve be the original from the 2005 kona) on Alex rims dm 24 rims (confusing name as it's a 26 inch wheel).160mm rotor. Bolt through solid axle


Front deore m525 on sun rims ditch witch rim. 180mm rotor. Quick release.


Both with nearly new black jack schwalbe tyres. 2.25 wide. And tubes.


Run true. Marked and used but I'd give them a 7 out of ten.


Collection from Honiton or East Devon/Exeter else postage at cost likely to be around fifteen quid if you give me time to get a box.

I'm a framebuilder so might be able to fix it.

Baggy headtube. Cups slide out. So either new headtube, or if cheap, just shim it. Or weld in a sleeve. Latter is what I'd do if I ever get around to it.

Ah yeah, think I remember seeing something about it actually. Could probably build up inside the headtube with silver or brass then ream it back to size.

Headtube swap would mean you could go for ether a tapered or larger diameter one to accommodate more modern forks, best done by someone with a mill which, sadly, I do not have.

Looked through your threads and found it, it's a difficult one because all the decent solutions would wreck the powdercoat you had done and the cost of doing a repair and then powdercoating it again make it uneconomical to repair.
