1996 Claud Butler Anaconda FINISHED pg7

Right on with the rims... Kin Lin... isn’t that somewhere in Norfolk?

Anodising looks ok, just need a deep clean with some Bar Keepers Revenge. 951BABD6-6D1E-4932-81C3-76E0B9E908A0.jpeg 262F3C6D-E9A6-45FE-A58D-5B5CA685F0A8.jpeg 2F37E856-8142-44E1-8C52-59DEA8391121.jpeg

Tough on stains. Tough on the causes of stains.

You're not wrong there, but then you are an educated fellow :)

Can’t be arsed to start on the 48 spoke crossed 4 times wheel builds yet... :|

Thought I’d play with something a bit more fun, namely a rough arsed Haro saddle in desperate need of some Peachy TLC ;) E71CE2DF-654F-4451-84B5-D5A892F72BCD.jpeg F1F4B4F4-C34A-4056-96D9-97396FAE1611.jpeg 99321744-6751-46FA-A5EF-3473FB08E144.jpeg 65B8EF22-D275-434E-A5B2-936A6E9B7B68.jpeg

Soft bit came out fine and most of the scratches in hard base are now gone, just need hours of painstaking polishing to get the plastic back to black. :| A192DC98-A665-437A-B9DE-B36AC4A5197C.jpeg

That’s the front done, looking forward to getting the rear done so that I never have to lace a 20” 48 spoke crossed 4 times wheel again l :| F179EB44-0A0A-4B71-8BCA-3C87B782010D.jpeg

If these things were easy they wouldn’t be worth doing.

By the way I won’t lace wheels. Not worth doing.

Great work restoring the saddle. I have high hopes..............

Ta, I find this saddle work strangely satisfying, so much so I’m thinking about restoring a B15 Brooks Swallow next ;)

Obviously not for a BMX
