Hi guys! During Corona times, I also found this beautiful 1993 CANNONDALE H800. I always loved the idea to work on a "trekking" style bike. Real "cool daddy style" with carriers or handlebar bags and stuff *lol*

Crazy story: The seller also included the "original saddle". A *NOS* 1993 Flite Titanium which he never used. Worth more than the complete bike! I loved that ;-)

I started to mess around about two weeks ago. Lets see where this leads to! I always loved high quality 700c bikes of the late 80s and early 90s!

Re:

Surprisingly little interest; folks here don't love a hybrid it seems.. I think it looks great. Wonderful original spec.

Re:

I nearly bought the same bike, same size a few weeks ago, went for £150 only two bidders, frame almost unmarked. First time I've seen one on Ebay UK in the 5 years I've been monitoring. It was a tad too far to travel and I have too many bikes, but seeing yours makes me feel I should have made the effort. 1993 was one of the better years for Cannondale and with that spec it should have been called a H1000 at the very least.

Thank You guys! Here are some pics of the last build days. Some touch op work of 2 combined color cans:
