Usual story, too many bikes not enough room and last in 1st out  .

Any way, I recently got this. A 1992 (I think) Alpinestars Cromega DX in mostly original spec. Thinking of using it as a winter bike due to MASIVE mud clearance. But on test ride it's too small for me :( .

Frame isn't mint and has plenty of scratches (ideal for a winter mud bike, I thought), but is straight and dent and crack free (as far as I'm aware). It's a 16" frame (measures 16 1/2" centre to top) made from True Temper OX tubing with original rigid forks, headset, stem and bars.

Original Shimano Deore DX groupo (STI's, Rear Mech, Front mech (with proper mounting nut ;) ), chainset, hubs and brakes), Mavic 232 rims and possibly original (if not they are period correct) Panaracer Smoke and Dart tyres (a bit cracked so will need replacing soon).

Non original bits are 'Club Roost' red grips, nearly new San Marco 'Rolls' saddle and a Kalloy seatpost.Cassette, chain and brake pads have been replaced at some point as well. No pedals (it came with crap plastic things that were binned).

Any how, here are some pics :D

I haven't cleaned or serviced it, but everything works as it should, but rof peice of mind I'd recomend a re-grease of headset and hubs (b/b is a sealed unit and looks to be a Shimano UN70/1).

I'm after £150Now £125 posted to UK mainland (via Fed EX 24 hour) or £130 Now £100collected. Payment via paypal if I'm sending or cash if collecting.
