Recently acquired a 1990 Alpinestars AL Mega XT. I believe it is a size large (seat tube is 54 and top tube is 56). It has original parts and I put a Dart and Smoke combo on it. No cracks upon inspection. I did right it today and it's a pretty sweet bike actually, even if just as a gravel bike. I know this is a UK thread but I'm close to Girona, Spain. 550€ is the asking price and we'd have to figure out the shipping/collection method. That price is what I paid for the bikes and tires so not looking to profit off this, just someone who is stoked on it. I was really looking for a bike to project into a single speed ATB and then discovered people are into them and was discouraged from altering it.
I'm also open to trading for a similar size and era steel framed bike with sliding dropouts.
