Posted this in the Yorks section but was pointed over here. Planning to do the Tour of Pen y Ghent in a couple of weeks time. Got the route sorted and we're starting from Litton rather than Horton so just after a few pointers really as to what to expect.

I need to find a not too difficult ride in the Pen-y-ghent area. Have found the 'tour of Pen-y-ghent' route online. Can anyone give me a bit of feedback about what the ride is like or offer up any alternatives? We'll be starting from Buckden so kind of top right of the route not from Horton.
