    Not my Muirwoods.

This is not my Muirwoods. It's for sale near me. I need to sell bikes. I really don't need to buy bikes. But look at the paint on this! I mean,... just look at it.

    Biking After Heart Valve Replacement.

I was wondering if anyone on here has needed a heat procedure and been able to resume biking after. I was born with a bicuspid aorta. I knew I had a heart murmur as a child and found out about the aortic stenosis when I was 12. I've never had any restrictions or symptoms but I always knew the...

Flexy Bendy Thing. Will it work?

I've dreamed of having a Moots YBB for years but they don't come up in my area, ever. This KHS Comp ST did, however. I've managed to get it built and functional. I just finished yesterday. It hasn't seen single track yet but that day will soon come. I hope it's as fun to ride as I've made it out...

    Getting ready to sell.

I'm keeping my 95 Zaskar LE, my 91 Monster Fat, my Mongoose Pro Titanium and my Team Marin. The rest has to go. I'm currently preparing my 91 Zaskar. Then I'll work on my Sworks, my Stumpjumper, my Hardrock, my Santa Cruz Heckler and my Ross Mt Hood. Here's the progress on the Zaskar.

    Is it worth it?

A bike just came up for sale near me. It's too small but has interesting kit. Comes with Spinergy SPOX wheelset. The bike is $150. Other usable parts too. Can old carbon wheels like this be safely used? What are they worth?

    1986 Ross Mt Hood

I picked this up on my way into work today for $30. The saddle, brakes, rear derailleur, tires and grips are not original. Everything else is Suntour XC Sport and in good condition. It appears to have been garaged and cared for during it's life. I'll know more this weekend when I can get into it.

Back to original or keep the upgrades?

I have a 91 Monster Fat that you may have seen on here several months ago. It's a really fun bike and has been upgraded by previous owners. I have also changed things around a bit to my my liking. About a year ago I picked up an all original 91 Stumpjumper. I stripped it down, cleaned everything...

    1999 Marin Hardtail Catalogue

My favorite rider currently in the stable is my 1999 Team Marin. I was pleased to find this catalogue on the flebay the other day so I ordered it. I'll post scans of it once it arrives. These are just poorly taken pictures on ebay.

1985/86 Raleigh Mountain Tour Grand Mesa

I really didn't think I would be posting another bike for Bike of the Month this soon. I never thought I would enter this bike at all. With this month being non-26 wheels I thought I would go ahead and list this one anyway. It came standard with 650b wheels, now commonly called 27.5. I...

1991 Fat City Cycles Monster Fat

I thought I would enter this for Bike Of The Month. I figured with Halloween coming it would be Frank's best shot at getting some votes. There are already some amazing nominees this months. Frank isn't a garage queen. I don't own any of those. Just a good solid rider. It's equipped with a mix of...

    91 Monster Fat

I rebuilt this bike last summer but I don't think I ever posted it here. It rides great.

    91 Specialized Stumpjumper

I finally got around to building this 30 year old Stumpy. I recorded video of it for my youtube channel but I still need to edit. Hopefully I can post it on Sunday.

    2001 Specialized S Works M4

I've had my eye out for a Specialized frame for a new project. I came across a 2001 S Works frame and figured it would do. I'm curious if there are any knowledgable Specialized fans on here. I would like to know more about the S Works frames. Would my frame have been made in the USA in 2001 or...

    Unbranded Titanium Project

This is still a work in progress but at least it looks like a bike now.

    Name that frame!

Any idea what this is? It's titanium.

    Rockshox seatpost

Cool retrobike kit, or more useful as a boat anchor?

Did Dean ever paint their titanium bikes?

I'm looking at an early Dean Duke soft-tail. It's painted white. I can't find any information on a Duke that wasn't made out of titanium but I'm not very familiar with the brand. Do any of you know much about these?

What is your favorite way to load pictures?

I like to take pictures on my phone. Sometimes I use a regular camera. The photos are always too big to load on this website. I like to download my pictures onto my computer to save them. At the same time I will take the pictures that I want to upload hear and edit them in the "paint" software...

    U-brake question

I have never set up a U-brake before. Is only one side spring loaded? Doesn't seem right. Also there is some wiggle room around the plastic caps that cover the bolt holes. It seems like they should be held down better than they are. Advice welcome.
