Kona Kula prob sorted

Hi All Due to damaged 217 decided to source/buy a set of rim brake XM317's. Already sourced the one on the Right (decal familiar to me) the one on the LEFT I have in mind has a different decal yet it's the same model, is this of any significance?

XT cage plates are fair loose (3-5mm) on outer the arm although chainwheel changing does not seem to be affected. But is this amount of floating play, on what seems to be two captive pivots and pin, acceptable?

Please, can anyone advise? Replacing two chain rings both 5 holes What BCD is 22T? Measuring hole ctrs (ruler!) I cannot for sure define whether they are 32.9mm ctrs= 56mm BCD or 34.3mm ctrs= 58 BCD? The 32 T I believe is 94 BCD Many thanks

Hi Guy & Gals Kona Kula 8 speed 1996. Mid ring 32T 5 hole got chewed a bit again, two in 5yrs. Specialites Compact 32-94 9 speed with ramps is what's installed. Are ramps advisable? Can anyone please advise were I can get the right new one from? Kind Regards B S

44/32/22 8speed 11 - 28 teeth replacing worn middle ring with 34T one as one's available. Is this change a significant one or will I hardly notice anything...like could it be a recommend swap?
