cheers all, bought a donor fork with a frame, the csu was in lovely condition, got home and stripped and it just looked wrong, turned out to be 1.1/4!🤦‍♂️ @Retro_Shox has come up trumps with springs.

hi all picked these up today, really good condition, however the steerer is buggered so need a new assembly, also as good as the elastomer are considering the age, does anyone know where I can get a set of suitable springs in the UK??

yeah, hopefully it'll crop up and get restored. unfortunately there was a comment straight away about how much the cranks were worth, so hopefully it won't be parted out as that would be a travesty. I'm only 30mins away from stanley, but don't have the money for it this time around

🤣🤣 cheers, took a lot of flack for that eh! I got the bike I wanted though so that's all that matters to me. I know the tyres are bright now, but they'll dull down this summer. it rides well, only thing wrong really is the front brake, the linkages are really loose so they rattle when offroad...

I don't know if the clamp will fit as its built in, happy to know otherwise though! I've got mavic d521 on the rim front.
