Colnago tecnos in AD10 colour scheme. Very nice all round condition no dents or cracks, theres the odd chip as you can see, chrome is generally good but a tiny bit on the bottom headtube lug has lifted a bit, I’ve captured it in one of the pictures. There’s a small surface rusty blemish on the...
Raceface triple rings
These were running perfectly alright when I removed them, middle looks great, the big not bad and the granny a bit worn , as I said no problems when I was using them with a fresh chain . 104 and 64 bcd as etched on them . I was thinking £ 15.00
Nice pair of forks which are now surplus to requirement. These are triple butted versions and are stamped tb on the steerer. The steerer is 142mm long and has 30mm of thread on it. These originally came off a 1995 kona cinder cone which was an 18 inch frame . £55.00.
I need a pair of mountain bike wheels. I need something that can take 8 speed or larger. I’m happy with a Mavic wheel set , hope hub based build , Shimano based build anything nice goes . For rim brake but happy to have disc hubs as long as the rims are rim brake. I need them to use so need...
Specialized sequoia
This is from the first year specialized ever produced a frame let alone a full bike. My friend bought it in Chicago back in 1981 and had it built to this spec. It’s numbered no 17 . Japanese built frame and fork.
Campagnolo brake calipers and lever
campagnolo bottom bracket...
Years and years ago I worked in a bike shop and Micheal a customer of the shop used to bring in his bike for various jobs, it was a Specialized Sequoia. This bike used to wind me up, it had campagnolo brakes and hubs and it just didn’t seem right id never seen one looking like this. So fast...
Hi
I’m after a 1inch threaded fork for my 1990 kona , so not too much travel, I was thinking a Manitou or mag21 or quadra . Something almost period . Oh I also need it to be for canti brakes. The current rigid forks have a 195mm steerer.
Thanks John
I have come across a 1961 Claud butler Coureur. It is missing it’s seatpost , I have measured the seat tube and it came out at 26.4. So I bought a post and as soon as it gets about 5 mm in it definitely will not go in further, I haven’t forced it. I tried a 25.4 and it was as slack as the other...
Here's a Helyett Speciale I just picked up. Simplex juy rear mech simplex shifters, Mavic rims, mafac brakes. I think this is a complete but dirty and a bit rusty but solid original. As you can see I have given some of it a bit of a clean and I think it will make a great original bike with...

I have just finished building this and another project has risen its head. I think it must be about 80miles old since rebuild. Good vintage cross bikes don't come up very often.

Hi
I just picked this up today. I bought it from a chap who had purchased it new from denton cycles in newcastle in 1985, he told me that it was a Gerrard Donovan bike from raleigh a special build division, but was sprayed and sticker as a Denton. Some years ago he had it back to the shop for...
I have been running the Raleigh for about a year now, but the Viner popped up the other day and I couldn't help myself. So I have 2 frames and only 1 groupset, which one do I go with?
I am about 5'11" 32 leg and the Raleigh is 56cm square, the ,Viner is 59cm seat tube and 58 top tube. Now I...

Ok, I tried a 27.2, too big. I tried a 26.4 it's too rattly. So I did the grown up thing and measured it, I think it's a 27.0mm. Do you know if from experience if this is the case. Next question is then does any one have one for sale?
