Wow, that was quick. Thank you very much. I thought the lugs looked nicely made. I had a look under the cable guide and there's just a figure "1" stamped.
Any idea what age or model? (By the way, forgot to mention the rear brake cable is internally routed)
The plan? Sounds like it warrants a...
Can anyone help me figure out what make/model/age this frame could be?The (missing) front derailleur is direct mount. Not sure how original any of the components are but for what it's worth, the cranks are Sugino, the rear derailleur a Suntour Vx, the forks are aluminium alloy.
Thanks!

Thanks for the info on the model year. I stand corrected.
When I described it as pre-triple triangle, I meant that it was a GT from before they started making triple triangle frames. Is that not the correct way to describe it?

The sticker in pic 4 says Made in France... is it a lie?
According to Peugeot:
"HLE ("Haute Limite Elastique") Tubing: HLE is Peugeot's exclusive alloy tubing. It is a "micro alloyed steel" which is comprised of Manganese, Niobium, Aluminum, Carbon and Titanium, which offers a lighter, yet...

Thanks for the reference. There are a couple on eBay at the moment:

and
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114432222619
One for 249.99 and the other for 330 and neither, imho, as nice as mine. However I'd take 250 if it's going to a good home
