Wow, that was quick. Thank you very much. I thought the lugs looked nicely made. I had a look under the cable guide and there's just a figure "1" stamped.
Any idea what age or model? (By the way, forgot to mention the rear brake cable is internally routed)

Can anyone help me figure out what make/model/age this frame could be?The (missing) front derailleur is direct mount. Not sure how original any of the components are but for what it's worth, the cranks are Sugino, the rear derailleur a Suntour Vx, the forks are aluminium alloy.
2002 Kona Cinder Cone, medium size 18 inch aluminium butted frame (paintwork scuffed around the top of the seat stays), 3x9 speed, Shimano Deore LX rear derailleur, Marzocchi Bomber forks, Avid v-brakes, Truvativ crank. The fork stanchion coating has been scratched on one side but forks still...

Thanks, but it does seem to be hanging around. Maybe everyone's been put off by the guy who thinks steel doesn't have carbon in it, saying he thinks my HLE frame is made in China and weighs a ton (which it doesn't by the way)
The sticker in pic 4 says Made in France... is it a lie?
According to Peugeot:
"HLE ("Haute Limite Elastique") Tubing: HLE is Peugeot's exclusive alloy tubing. It is a "micro alloyed steel" which is comprised of Manganese, Niobium, Aluminum, Carbon and Titanium, which offers a lighter, yet...
Great original condition. US import - had a US bike shop sticker and front brake was on the left (I have switched it to the UK standard with front brake on the right).
18 speed Shimano 200GS derailleurs and shifters
All checked, working well and ready to ride away. Pick up in London NW3. £120
Thanks for the reference. There are a couple on eBay at the moment:
One for 249.99 and the other for 330 and neither, imho, as nice as mine. However I'd take 250 if it's going to a good home
