    I wonder if it uses a u-brake because the brake mounts are / have to be on the steel lug? Maybe the brake could not be mounted on the seat stay, because at that location the tube is carbon, not steel?

    That looks stunning. You have done a fine job of the rebuilt and refresh! Do you get many comments from other cyclists when riding it? To me it looks so much more refined that the typical modern carbon road bike.

    Hi all - wanted: 1 inch quill stem with 110mm to 120mm reach (centre to centre) with a built-in brake cable guide (i.e. internal routing / roller / etc). (22.2mm diameter to fit steerer tube with 25.4mm handlebar clamp) Thanks
