    Wanted Rigid 19" 90s MTB

Thanks guys. Some nice stuff but not quite what I was after. For now I have sort of repurposed one of my clockworks for this role - I had a set of F7 forks on another bike which has now been stripped down. I’d probably still be tempted by the right thing but should try to hold off any...

Dragging myself back to riding not just hoarding bikes and getting fat....

I probably spend at least as much time building and tinkering as I do riding, but you know what, no guilt at all. Fiddling with old bikes is probably the most relaxing thing I do, and sometimes it's even useful. It also stops me buying any brand new bikes, which is definitely a good thing...

Decent 7 speed shifter/levers suitable for v brakes??

I've had a look and they're not there any more. Shimano did a V-brake compatible 7 speed STI in Acera and Alivio spec - both decent enough, IMO This sort of thing: https://bikerecyclery.com/shimano-alivio-7-speed-rapidfire-combo-shifters-brake-levers-3x7-v-brake-or-cantilever-new/

Decent 7 speed shifter/levers suitable for v brakes??

I'm sure I've got some decent enough ones in my parts stash somewhere - will have a look but drop me a message if I forget. LX560 STIs are particularly nice though. For 7 speed I tend to stick to thumbies and use separate brake levers...

Hey guys, this is all boxed up - and I'd like to get shot of it in one go. @LikeClockwork if you want to come get the package then great, otherwise @tom_k9 it's all yours. Maybe send me a PM and we'll work it out?

Karma Kona Lana'i 14" (small) frame, seatpost, Easton bars, wheels & tyres £25 posted / karma collected.

Was being ridden by both the Stupido Jr.s but they've now sized up so these are the bits I no longer need following a stripdown. Frame has marks and scratches a plenty but is sound and straight. Easton monkey bars ditto. Wheels and tyres show signs of wear and age but were being ridden...

    Short rear MTB mudguard recommendations?

Idiot that I am I just bought a set to see if they’re any good! Seem quite versatile and well thought out actually, lots of options for mounting. Not sure whether I’ll use them as I already have a surplus of mudguards but these look like they might be a good option for bikes that lack the proper...

    Short rear MTB mudguard recommendations?

I'm not convinced that having a soggy arse makes you look cool. I think riding a bike in semi-normal clothes and not having them soaked in muddy water is probably a better look than the drenched lycra that lots of people seem to favour. I've fitted these in the past. They're kind of a half way...
