The seller who I bought this from in Italy stated that it has original paint, and it is in incredible condition for its age. Having commuted on...
These are the photos the original seller sent me for you to compare with - the same shininess is present. As I said, I consider it to be NOS but you can disagree if you see fit. I would say that there are few examples on sale currently that come close to the condition of this saddle
A classic Cinelli Volare SLX saddle in Black leather, made in Italy c.1980s.
I bought this a few months ago to equip to my Cinelli Supercorsa, I eventually sold the bike and just have the saddle left. I would consider the saddle to still be NOS as it is in mint condition - there are no marks...

Re: 1984 Cinelli Supercorsa - 60x58
UPDATE: I would take £700 or nearest offer for the Frame + Fork. Stem, handlebars and NOS saddle would be £200 - a perfect opportunity to put your own build together with quality Cinelli parts.
Looking for a 60-62cm bike, suitable for 6’4 rider. Budget is around £200 mark, but there is some slight room for manoeuvre. I’m helping a friend source one for her bf’s birthday, so need to try and wrap things up before February.
I am selling my second lockdown project - £2000 ono + shipping.
Pickup in SE17/Kennington or I can meet in Central London. Contact for postage quotes.

This may be a painfully obvious question, but I'm building a bike and looking at chains. I had previously thought that an 8 speed chain would mean 4 rear cogs on the freewheel/cassette and 2 chainrings, but having read around I'm thinking its refers to 8 rear cogs?
