I think it looks great mate!
Maybe a little trimming needed on the brake cables? Hard to tell though, the portrait mode photos are actually almost a little distracting! I know it's supposed to highlight things, but I keep getting drawn to the weird little glitches it causes in the out of focus...
Non drive side.
Just so there's something nice to look at on both sides of the bike!
I like the logic behind weight distribution too. I'm gonna pretend that's the reason now. Sounds more "pro".
Although I imagine the help this provides is negligible to the point of none existence.
I like a...
Thank you so much @Mr Scruff!
I am, but it feels really special to hear such positive feedback from people on here. So I really appreciate it.
All very new at this, still. And still have a lot to learn!
God, it's an enjoyable way to spend what little free time I have though!
Yeah, I was sort of assuming this would be a mellow month after last month’s Champions League knock out round battle royal! But apparently not!
Love the AMP!
Proper Terminator bike from the future vibes.
Oh man. The Suntour laced ones are EXACTLY what I need.
But there are three problems: exchange rate, shipping to US, and the fact I already have a set of those very hubs laced to some less ideal rims!
What to do.
Looks great Ibbz!
So jealous you splashed the cash on the XCPro levers! They look perfect and I’m still hunting for mine.
The tires looks spot on too. My set from the same seller also arrived and I’m eager to fit them!
Good work all around on this one!
(Black grips tho! ;) But you already...
I was recently asking for similar HERE, and was pointed in the direction of the road version of the same bottom bracket (BB-550). Give or take a couple of millimeters and some chainline finesse it could be an option for you.
Wait, it's got White Industries hubs laced to 217's in Bronze too!?!
What the holy hell.
That's a lot of coincidences!
I wonder now about those wheels. Did someone offer that as a catalog spec on a bike in 1994? Seems weird/wild there'd be two sets floating around exactly like that otherwise...
A yellow-accented, red-framed American bike, with Judy's, Flite, Smoke and Darts, riser bars and XTR?
That's a a quick-draw shoot out between boutique master builder and mass-produced mega company, surely!
I would say nice bike, but I feel kind of like I'd be bigging myself up too!
