    1976/77 Koga-Miyata Road Racer

Thanks, finally sorted out the geometry and really happy with it. I am not 100% sure, these are stock though so I assume so. Settled for another bottle/cage which was super cheap until I find something more authentic.

Tange Chrome Fork -124 - Large

Just after a Tange Chrome Fork for my Koga Miyata. Mine are currently fine but pitted/flaking. I have bought new decals and wanted to put them on some fresh forks. I'm after specifically after the 124 model below. Frame is large, 61cm C-T which has been my main hurdle. Based in SE...

    1976/77 Koga-Miyata Road Racer

Thanks, really happy with the bike so far. Its actually my first road bike, had a touring CB basic before, so its a big upgrade on feel and speed. Looking to start to get some more serious miles on it while the weather is semi decent, just a shame I missed out on the great summer we had...

    1976/77 Koga-Miyata Road Racer

Do you mean on the forks? Tubes are in great nick, all just minor surface rust, scrubbed back the lonly large paint chip on the top tube but don't want to get too invested until I find some matching paint to seal it off, waiting on the decals too. Was just going to soak any signs of rust with a...

    1976/77 Koga-Miyata Road Racer

Sharing my first proper bike project - 1977 Koga-Miyata Road Racer, 61cm Koga-Miyata measured C-T if anyone wanted to know. It is actually an E serial number, so built in 1976, which is also supported by the lowercase "Koga" font on down tube sticker. All 77 spec, 76 road racer was white for...

    Tubular Tyres. A Beginner's Report.

Re: Re: Haha, I actually opted out of tubulars - more that the bike ended up having clincher rims instead of the original tubs. One day I will try for the tub experience but considering I live in London I think its probably not worth the dice roll. Ended up going for the 25cm Panaracer...

    Tubular Tyres. A Beginner's Report.

Re: I am venturing into the world of Tubulars and was hoping to get some recommendations. Seems like a lot of previously mentioned tyres are not available anymore. For a first time Tub user I was looking to get something that's more puncture resistant than performance. I was looking at the...

WTB Early 80s Suntour Front Mech - VX, Cyclone, Superbe

I am restoring a 1982 Claud Butler Cresta 531 for my runabout, my pandemic furloughed hobby! On the hunt for a Suntour front mech, ideally a VX to match my rear derailleur, but am interested in cyclone and superbe mechs of this era. The latter might be better as I have a 36T-52T crank set and...
