My PEUGEOT Collection - One bike at a time

The internal cable routing for the gear cables in pretty neat = running just below the bottom bracket axle (see photo). No space for a later cartridge system! thankfully my XT bottom bracket is immaculate and fine. 😁 Team-10.jpg

Sorry no, i tried zooming in too... I cant make out the brake arch design.

Its the arch to the brake that matters most. If the arch is flat steel bent round (and not cylindrical / tubular in shape) then its more likely a Peugeot frame.

The seat QR has a brazed on fitting which looks correct for the medium to higher end Peugeot frames, but the Braze on looks unusually high? They used to break, so were repaired by many people. This could be the case here?

Lastly the cable routing braze ons on the top tube are in the wrong place for a Peugeot frame.

Apologies not good news = So at this stage I'm not convinced it is a Peugeot frame.☹️

But the paint job and decals look great👍
ok thanks for the information, maybe i will sell this bike as soon as possible and look for a new frame 😁👍

Just keep it, lovely paint finish and not going to ride any better swapping it. Enjoy it for what it is ;) . Being an imposter :LOL:. Your bike is very welcome addition to this thread 👍 👍 👍

Loving the collection! My first mountain bike was a Peugeot Ranger 10. Every now and again, I have a dig around the internet to see if I can find one the same, but to no avail.
