Specialized Stumpjumper XT

StumpyXT

Retro Newbie
Thinking of selling my Stumpjumper XT - bought new in 1990, the bike is mostly original and in fair condition - Can anyone advise what it might be worth? Many thanks.

What a gorgeous bike! Love these stumpies. I can't tell what tyres are they and the rims and hubs? This may help more knowledgeable people than myself help give you an accurate valuation

A similar tidy example was on eBay at the start of July. It sold but the price isn't clear - less than £350 though.

You'd get more information here if you added more pictures so the components and condition are visible.

I'll get some more pics later. Cheers.

A few more pics. The only parts changed on bike over the years have been the saddle, quick releases, chain, tyres and grips. It still has the original brake blocks!

Another non expert chiming in - That looks to me like the kind of bike that could generate quite a bit of interest, it's definitely got that intangible x-factor and if more than one or two people fall in love with it then it could exceed expectations. For what it's worth I'd run an auction with a reserve of say £300 but I think you'll get significantly more than that.
