I was browsing Craigslist and found this for free so couldn't pass on it. Needs a little TLC but not bad overall.
Just took it for a spin and I forgot how well these climb. Light and nimble.
It's going to need new tires and a chain, also a rebuild on the Judy's. 100_3962.JPG 100_3963.JPG

I remember getting one of those back in 95 when the bike shop I worked in started selling Specialized.

It was indeed a one year colour.

A great bike out of the box, the only thing I changed was adding an SRP Ti bolt kit for the XT groupset.
 
I have exactly the same. It was a missile climbing. I bought it new in 1995 and I've been using it until 2018 with some upgrades. It keeps the same ahead-set, hubs and stem.
The original stem was a full titanium one, but too racing for me. The position was very racing. I exchanged it after 3 weeks riding my bike.
