Located South Devon and collection encouraged but postage possible. I'm offering this to RBers for £300 cash or £350 posted (paypal gift), either of which which will result in a small a loss made for me. It's a lovely bike and I'd like it to find a good home.

This is a fresh build with no corners cut - new grease and bearings throughout, everything obsessively cleaned and overhauled, fresh rubber and stainless cables throughout. New chain, spanking UN-55 BB, minty NOS brake levers etc... It's mostly lovely Deore MT-60 but the hubs are Shimano 105 (with a brand new screw on freewheel) laced to the Mavic Oxygen rims with heavy duty stainless spokes. Wheels are hand-built, tight and true and correctly dished. As you might expect it rides like a new bike.

As you can see the frame has cosmetic damage (patina?) I quite like it as-is but I think it would be worthy of a paint job at some point.

Reason for sale: essentially I can't see myself riding it much, I've only taken it around the block but gut feeling is that if anything it's a bit too small. Anyway I've decided I'd rather sell it as a totally fresh build before I really put it through its paces and avoid getting attached! In any case I have plenty of other bikes that I like and don't have time to ride, and other projects in the queue that I need space and funds for. It's a 19" frame - will have a measure of exact dimensions later.

Just had a quick measure...

Seat tube is 19" c-t
Top tube 21.5" c-c

It ought to fit me OK really... Perhaps I should take it for a proper ride after all. ;)
