đź‘‹ New here: GT LTS 1996. Advice welcome!

This mid 90s bike the owner would have fitted vs as soon as they were available.
I saw no cantis at the mtb race start line by 97, but the LTS was still looking good and performing well - so it's a period correct upgrade👌

Wow - core memory unlocked. Gettagrip. Watching this I must have been no older than 5 years old.

The frame number is 001964100LTS 18
Where does it need to be shared?
Just on here is ideal :) Did you post a bottom bracket photo then delete it??

That looks like an unusual, but genuine number to me. I suspect it was US built like the Zaskars, as it isn't an Asian format number - it's also the first I've seen like that. @kingoffootball

I have this recorded from another thread - I have one other recorded with the 00 start but no idea why they appear to have one more 0 than necessary.

I’ve had quite a few LTS1 and DH and from memory they’ve had the 00 start but couldn’t say for sure as it’s from memory.

My 97 LTS 1 that I currently have does have that format for sure though.

Thank you, that's very helpful. I think the other one I have recorded is a US-built RTS, so would make sense for all those to follow the same format - even if different from the Zaskars.

I've added that one to my list - hope that's alright but tell me if you would prefer me to remove it.
