Anyone into classic furniture

Could you share a bit more about the vintage hifi? Looks great.
It’s built around a late 70’s Yamaha ca-610 amp, which sadly stopped working recently. That needs to be my next restoration project. Also a Thorens tl150 turntable, I think those are Roger’s compact audio speakers which we changed to a more meaty set of celestion Ditton 33s

Mid Century Modern still fits perfectly in a 2025 Modern-Modern bathroom

I wanted something lightweight because it was mounted on a stud wall.. most modern barthroom cabinets weigh a flippin ton! more so when they're full of products.. i didn't want it to protrude too much because it's quite a narrow room... this^ was perfect.. i spent months trying to track down a nice example. 😁

I imported it from Vintarama in Bavaria.. Dirk and Katja couldn't have been lovlier..

Crap photo's of Paul Jaques Design hammock chair with previously mentioned stool. I really dislike his work generally but love this chair. It was bought for hi fi listening upstairs; as it folds slightly I was able to get it up a very narrow spiral staircase, unlike other comfy chairs.

Reason I ask.. I think they’re all digital downloads nowadays but they also made the back issues available and iirc.. the very first publication was about the vintage cycling aesthetic focusing on old velodromes and abandoned Olympic sites.. they only printed a few copies so quite a rare thing in print but I think the download is only £3.. I can’t vouch for the quality but .. meh! It’s only £3

Also, I'm sure he's noticed but I'll tag @pete_mcc - his house is very much on the way to museum!
Museum, junk shop, hoarders paradise…it’s all the same, right?

I have a lot of Fyne Lady Aformosia furniture designed by Richard Hornby, Eames this and that, Panton peacock chair that the cats sleep in and so much mid century glass (many Whitefriars, I have a stupidly large collection) and, fortunately, I live in a house old enough to have proper lights rather than led spots and I have a lot of bizarre 60s/70s lights. I’ll take some photos..
