Hi Guys,

i own a Nuke Proof Titanium.
I have posted the bike on here and on my blog and since then i am trying to get more info about the brand.
Frequently i receive an email from some other owners around the world on my blog asking me info because there is so little known and they think i know ;)
I also received an email from a very kind woman who made the original brochure and i also spoke to James, who is mentioned in the ad

I can't tell you more than i already did, Bas. But let me know if one of them want to sell their frame. I need, as you know, a larger one than yours :D :D :D

Have you talked with mr_ship, who's got the same frame?

Thanks Jakob,

I did not know that there was another one on RB.

mr_ship, where are you?,..show me some pics ;)

Hi

Brant Richards of Ragely is now importing Nuke Proof branded products. No idea if it is the same company or just the brand reinvented, but he may have some answers or contacts.

I always suspected that the Nuke Proof frames were outsourced to Litespeed or Sandvik (They look a lot like the frames that litespeed were making for Lemond in the same era) and it is very difficult to make your own titanium fames.

that is correct, mine looks like it has been made by Litespeed.
according to the info i have there has been 3 different welders.

The current Nuke Proof brand has not so much to do with the old brand except the same name.

lucifer has one (or had ?) a week ago, was asking about prices

which I must say has a striking resemblance to a years previous '94) Ti bolt.. bar the sloping seat clamp, rear stay cable stop placement and the dropout. ( I don't think RM made Ti's after 94)

When did Nuke Proof Start production ?

MMBA as a long (very long) shot may know something/contacts, as they where sponsors according to the leaflets you show

Yeah Bas, I've got one too, size small.
Still in the process of building it up...taking me forever to get the parts I want...mainly Nuke Proof. :D

Will post a few pictures up when I get home...currently at work in the Algerian desert....HOT!

I have a Nuke Proof Reactor but I too can offer no information about the brand, I would like to know more though!
