Project P7 ...

enc

Kona Fan
Had this P7 a while and decided to bring it in off the back burner. It's rough... no shit   but I believe it has potential :D
As with all my projects, this will be a budget build restoring/tarting up as much as possible. As you can see the nickel coating has deteriorated allowing rust to get a foothold. The good news is, i did a little test section on the frame and it came up amazing (TF)

No set plan... just see where this takes me and hopefully, I'll learn stuff on the way.
So roll with the pictures...

Even from a distance, it looked rough...

As with many of these nickel, P7's the clear coat has broken down

Nice.

That would have been a great bike when new and doesn't look too bad to me. Early P7 too, don't see many with the original Hot Rods.

Re:

I like to think I may have inspired this coming off the back burner :)

It’ll scrub up great for almost no money!

Get that nickel shiny again!

Do you still have the F7 forks or did you take them to the tip like i did.

Yeah... im wondering how much of the bike is original spec. I know Orange had/have a custom options list.
