Spotted this frame for sale on here before Xmas and having always loved the paintwork i had to have it.
I was originally worried that being an 18" it may be too small but it fits me (6ft 2") perfectly.
If the snow ever clears i will give it its 1st ride.

NICE ! I have same year Backwoods frame.
Currently getting together, I noticed from your earlier pix is the yellow
quite 'egg yolk' colour. It looks in new pix like your Rock shox are a
lighter yellow. Tho still looks cool.

Are your flames decals or painted ?
Any tips colour matching or decals greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys :)

Jez the flames are decals underneath clear coat.

Yes the forks are a slightly lighter shadfe of yellow but they match pretty well.
Never had to touch this up so I can't help with paints etc.

If you need any new decals contact gil_m, he should be able to sort you out

Looking forward to seeing your Backwoods built up.
