Come on, what were your retro highlights of the year (and if you can illustrate with a photo that much the better).

1. getting back into riding and racing bikes after 11 years of not doing bikes

2. Buying a Ibis Mojo SL and tricking it out (spent $9k on it).

3. Scoring a Ibis Alibi and building it up as the first hardtail I have ridden in 13 years.

4. Going to Interbike in Vegas and winning $15,500 playing blackjack and getting back into the bike scene.

5. Realizing I am in better shape now than when I was in my 20's

6. see #1

Riding the Devon Coast to Coast with the family...on 1994 Dawes MTB Tandem, 6 year old son stoking, 4 year old son in the trailer, wife on her 98 Fire Mountain.

Harder work than riding 100 miles over the Wessex CTC Gridiron ride on my 94 Litespeed Catalyst! Shocked

Arran ride in August - my first MacRetro ride. And what a way to start Very Happy

Glorious weather, great tracks, and (of course) a top bunch of lads. Laughs, spills, invisible clifftop trails through 6ft high ferns (fall left, fall left!). And a pub lunch. One of those magic days that reminds you why you ride.
