hey all

want to remove the crown from my forks, taken the top adjuster off ut underneath is a anodised blue cap which i cant seem to remove, havent forced it due to not wanting to damage the anodsing.

does it pull off turn?

its threaded , it should all come off in one go

should only be hand tight

Slim - what do the two small screws do (at the bottom of M3 legs) - are they drain holes?

they are what the compression rods bolt into ( the black plastic rods )

wrap it in a rag and give it some stick

thay do tend to get shitted up (technical term)

give them a spray with penetrating oil and then go for it :wink:

I know I'm a bit behind the time with this one, but you have to loosen the crown to stanchion bolts first. The stanchions squash slightly making the thread tight. Loosen these, then it should be hand tight. . .
