New Axles arrive from SJS cycles today but they have sent me 6mm instead of 5mm so I phoned them and they said i must have M966

well I have 3 sets of these and they all say M975 and they are 5mm Axles - I have been swapping them around.

Also its not the lever - so I have got some new split flange bushes coming also

need a £13 refund from SJS though!

So I have 3 sets of M975 so I have swapped the levers and axles around and I found out that the split flanged bushes caused the problem

so I have replaced them with the nylon ones that came from the photo attached

and guess what - even with the old lever and axle this brake has absolutely no play - in fact its better than my almost Nos set!

Great its sorted. I have a set of new Paul levers that after less than 100 miles that have developed similar wobble. Maybe this is a solution for that.
