Yep bought it, and yes I'm certain the stays are meant to be that way!

Despite appearances, the frame is nothing "special". It's lugged but probably gas-pipe or reynold's 500.

However all parts are mid-range and in good condition, it's really nicely put together actually, feels bombproof.

I'll put some photo's up over the weekend.

Will probably be for sale next week - it's not really my thing at the moment (just sold my only road bike a couple of weeks ago) and I'm supposed to be having a bike-cull, not buying more!
