Hi,

I’m hoping some of the Kona experts here can help me. I have a cherry red frame badged up as a Kona Cindercome though I have my doubts about the model and it appears to be steel. It also has a Richey Logic Tange Prestige sticker. On the drop outs it has the richey tange stamp. It is top routed cables only with a thread less front so I’m guessing a late 90’s model and the cable stops look right for Kona - can’t find one in this colour though. The serial number begins ym if that helps.

The richey sticker looks crooked but the frame is stamped on the drop outs ?

I’m a bit confused as it doesn’t look like a respect ..... any expert help would be great before I spend money building it up as a retro ride !!

Thanks

Chris

I thought the same but the cable routing though looks identical to later steel Kona’s so I’m not sure ..... I’m guessing the stamp shows it’s richey tange so could it be a Kona using this frame material ?
