I think those cranks are bb30, in which case you'd need a BB30 BSA bottom bracket, if the axle is wide enough

It is possible though yes?
And how do I measure up for these axles?

Theoretically yes. If you find a suitable bottom bracket it should have instructions on measuring up.

CAAD 5 has a standard bottom bracket, BB30 won’t fit, CAAD 6 is the first model of Cannondale that BB30 fitted.

Adapter bottom brackets are available though. Not all cranks work with them but they do exist

Not for that combination, axle is to short to accomodate the outboard bearings of an adapter.
