Hi folks.
Just spotted a fully chromed Carlton Cobra frame on GT for a song and wondered if anyone can remember if there was such a model? The frame has no stickers but it does look very similar to the Carlton Cobra my old man had back in the 70s.
There's also a number on the rear of the head-tube "73" so dunno if that identifies it at all.
It's dirt cheap and in pretty good condition (bit of surface pitting, etc., but should come up nice) and it's going to be a bit of a long project with the end result a nice commuter and for rides with my kids.
Any help/tips re the above questions feel free to respond!
Cheers,
JW

Thanks - you’re probably right going by the look of the frame.
Cheers
