Favourite bike colour, and top tubing too! Never had a Max frame. Stiff as a very stiff thing I'd guess

You could compress the middle of the top tube between finger and thumb. Really nice paint job.

Shakedown ride - blimey!

350g rims and 190g tyres meant everything spun up so very quickly.

Finding the hills, theres no flex to speak of. Sometimes you can see the bottom bracket swinging away on some frames - but not this one. Its stiff but only in a pedal and the bike moves rather than an ooh thats not nice.

Its kind of made everything else redundant now though.
