Re: Summer project

Estays and steel... what else do you need :)

No clue what it is..? Haro?

Re: 1991 Cycle Tech Aspen

Yes, you're right! e-stay and steel...

It's not a Haro, but a Cycle Tech Aspen. I believe it's from 1991 (by serialnumber).

I cannot find any information on the web of this brand or model. I believe there were a lot of "Aspen" models made bij Cycle Tech (e-stay or diamantframe).

The bike has been used. All the parts were in terrible condition, but the frame is structurally sound and complete with the original seatpost and stem. And I really like the colour... British Racing Green.

Here are some quotes...

Re: 1991 Cycle Tech Aspen

All right! Cool project. Was their top model not the "Nova Pro"?

I like the mono seatstay on it as well. What frame material is used?

Looks unusual, have you finished it yet :p

:D Pretty hardcore this way isn't it?

Today I made some progress. I've got a complete DX groupset waiting for this bike. Now it's time to get building those wheels....

Re: 1991 Cycle Tech Aspen

Wheels are ready

Note to self: do not build a wheelset sitting next to a campfire and drinking red wine
