:D Howdy, yep my e-bay name is yetisherpa. Sucks dont it? I never look whos bidding on e-bay in fact i hardly use it anymore. However it might be a good time to reap the benefits of some kit ive hauled in in the past. Im selling all of stuff im not presently using, you could call it recycling. Please look out for a bunch of COOK BROS. stuff, GROVE HAMMERHEAD etc. I will be sticking it on E-bay i dont like it much but it does give everyone a fair chance. I aplogise if i outbid anyone out there but hey its been done to me loads of times!!!

Thwang,

I'll pm you with the steel details...

Got the Grove to a rolling chassis today, can't wait to get it to a point of ridable.

Lee is hooking me up with the Ritchey Logic brake kit as the original has been parted out through the years. Once that arrives, I should be good to go. Please Mr. Postman...

My package from Lee arrived today so off I went on the build.

I've got it ridable now, though I'm still missing a few items to put her back to original flavor...

- One turqoise blue Ringle seat binder
- One turqoise blue Avid Tri-dangle
- Specialized Ground Control Extreme tires
- Deore XT toe-clips and straps

I'm running it with the Thomson post (the XT was all nasty bent) and Flite saddle for now as they are both available and quite comfy.

It's been quite fun tracking down some of the parts. Most, like the XT platforms, I gave to friends years ago when I built up bikes for them from my spare parts bin. Some quite humorous calls made in the last couple of weeks...

"Hey Mark, do you still have that GT I built up for you 12 years ago?"

"Yeah, I think it's out in the shed under the Little Tikes Princess Playhouse"

"Awesome! Do you know if it still has the the Anodized Turqoise Avid Tri-dangle straddle cable hangers?"

"The WHAT????"

"You know, the little blue dohickeys on the brake cables above the tires"

This weekend is our local 24 hour race...may take the Hardcore out on a lap :D

cheers,

rody

What an awesome paintjob.

Do you think we will ever see a fluo revival again?

(Baring in mind everything seems to have gone full circle these days)
