bit of a double post but I didnt want to leave out any peeps from Lincolnshire that may have moved

That's nice, good to see he has been remembered in this way. I never met him but easily remember him riding the Milk Race and other major events in the 50's and 60's. I reckon his achievements and successes were even more deserved because he lived away from the main centres of cycle sport in those days yet still got recognition for them.

I know , we didnt even realise what a legend he was as kids.

There is a well supported memorial race in Sleaford in his honour if you fancy it coming up soon I believe
