After Chris' incredible karma last year at MM I really wanted to do this frame some justice. I decided to have as many British components as possible. It's taken nearly a year to gather the parts for this, mainly due to availability and budget contraints but now they are nearly all gathered.

UPDATE 11-08-12 Still running a temp bracket for the rear brakes until the noodle guide is welded back on and the seat tube binder may need to go....

mmmmmm. . . . Race Face Ti stem is rather nice.

That's great start to the build, and fantastic Karma indeed.

ParkPre

Would be tempted to go with a Brit stem too, Pace or Hope, maybe X-lite? How come the choice on Brit bits? Nice frame btw.

Bought an x-lite stem, quite weighty and fussy for this build I thought. Others had the big ugly clamp, and couldnt find a period hope, Pace didn't look right. This race face has very clean lines.
Parkpre's were quite often sold as frame sets so I thought i'd built this up with a British theme as though I bought the frame BITD.

Looking good G. The frame is a fantastic ride and sticking quality kit on it will only enhance it further.

Remember this frame has a lot of history - owned and raced by Clive Powell.

Thanks, I can't wait to ride it! The history of the frame is awesome  Hopefully I'll do it justice with my build.

Collected the frame from Jemx Remedies this afternoon, very happy with the repair! It's a lot neater than enigma too.

Previous work by enigma, still a very good repair.

Not finished as I still need a seat clamp, headset spaces, silver granny ring, M900 front mech, Kona dog collar. But I couldn't wait to put it together and went down the road :D
