Can I be so bold as to submit my recently finished Vitus 992. A bit of an eBay queen but it's my main rider and is a real joy. Zonda wheels and a Athena/Chorus mix but the ride is great and it really puts a smile on my face whenever I ride it.

Doesn't matter whether its a lovely Vitus like yours or a beater pub bike, thats all that really matters right there :)

Ha, i was waiting for that. I pondered over the colour, but figured black or silver would be lame, just wanted something neutral and stand alone, so settled for classic Cinelli camo-yellow

Hope your not offended mate :!:

I'd have gone for Ambrosio Tape in white or black but after-all its your bike and if your happy its got nothing to do with anyone else

Have you seen that 'carbon effect' Cinelli tape ? Looks mint !

Ian.

I agree, love the stuff. I've got both silver on one bike and gold on another. I think silver would look ace on this vitus, keeping almost everything black and silver. Look make a really nice bright silver tape which isn't easy to find anywhere, probably only CRC:

I don't think that I entered this before (and if I did then obviously I'll withdraw) - Zullo SLX in TVM '91 Tour finish. Chorus groupset, ITM bars and stem, Campag Chorus Titanio post, Mavic rims, Rolls.

Hmm, looks like the saddle isn't level although it is - damn the poorly maintained backyard with it's sloping tarmac....

BEAUTIFUL BIKES ONE AND ALL!. I still have a special place in my heart for my Aerospace pro, ahead of its time in 1975. But I am partial... the other bikes are all worthy steeds I would be proud to ride any one of them.

If the saddle's level then the top tube isn't - they're definitely not parallel.
Very nice bike anyway. It's a good month already - again.

Mark.

Raleigh Carlton Record Ace TDF edition
Just finished it.
Raleigh Carlton Record Ace TDF edition built Worksop 1980.
Campagnolo groupset

Took it out on a club run and had no problems keeping up with all that carbon stuff.
Great to ride and fast!
