Always fancied an e-stay and these have always caught my eye. The design looks right and well thought out.

So when this one came up on eBay outed by mrlee (thanks!) I had to have a go at it.

Here's some pics for now.

Build is going to be XT, PACE RC35s and a mix of finishing kit - that will include a Mavic headset (seems to be 'the law' with these!).

Out of control - but I did sell a frame the other day ;)

I could even go belt drive

Done a raid on the parts bins, this is what I'm thinking so far:

Purple USE seat post, bars and bar ends
Middleburn RS3's with purple spider and black SG chain rings
Control tech stem

Got 34.9 top pull m736 on the way along with a Mavic 317 headset from Antstark (Thanks! :D).

795 STi's, m734 cantis, m735 short cage rear mech.

Wheels will be dx on rm17s for now until I can find some purple/ti hope hubs on m231s 8)

No way! - that's about 0.5miles from my house! I bought some inner tubes from there the other day (really nice shop but I felt a bit old around all the jump/freeride type bikes!)

Maybe I'll take this there to get the headset to get fitted :D
