Following an un-expected change of heart by the gods of family events, I'm now able to make this.

So meet up here:
Quote:
... meet at Devils Dyke, say 10am for 10.30 start

Which is BN1 8YJ for the navigationally enabled.

Is this the ride dress code? 'cos I was planning "shorts/trousers" on for me. :-)

there's a pub right on the hill called The Devils Dyke - take a look here I suspect it's the carpark you can see to the north of the red google pointer thing

fella's, I really wanted to bring my Kona along for its first proper outing, but after some fettling, ive not been able to eliminate about 1mm play in the cup/cone bottom bracket as im missing the lockring spanner.

Would i definitely be best off not riding it and bringing something modern instead, or do you think itll be alright to ride as is?
it just feels like a very slight knock when you rock the crank arm side to side.
ive not much experience with these proper old school b/b's!
