Start of my 2012 build thread!
Been told it may be a phase one due to the square dropouts!
Gonna take a while this one as there's a bit of work to do to the frame!
Pics of what I've collected for it so far all sourced from you guys so cheers!
Thoughts please guys.

Frame as modeled by Johnnypie! decals now removed!

hi
very cool e-stay!! if you strip it to bare, what colour are you planning for it? i used to work with a brit who had one of these back in the olde days when he lived in uk. he was amazed by this site when i showed it to him. almost had him hooked on buying a retro bike again. his wife said no. lol will be watching your build. good luck.

Have you considered anodizing the frame? I know they originally had some gold coloured anodized ones. Never seen one in the flesh mind!!! Would be definately cool.

I have also seen later frames (including Ozone) anodised in purple and blue!

Gold anodised with 3dv accent parts and polished xt components does appeal!

Red and silver is def a good look. For some reason I was always keen on the blue one above but I had the red drop outs and couldnt find anywhere to anodise such a small order.

I also like Ivan Marchant's race bike with purple decals and accents. He had m900 mechs, lx cranks, xt brakes and shifters, hope wheels with smoke and dart tyres, itm ti stem, x-lite bars, use post, shocktech forks (replaced by PACE quite quickly I believe!)

Choices choices choices!
I'll have to have a closer look at Marchants race bike & all literature I can get my hands on!
