Due to the pitter patter of tiny feet soon to land in the ekiborter house my 17" 1996 Kona Hei Hei has to go.

I'm asking [s]£800[/s] now £700 including postage to mainland UK Paypal, direct bank transfer or cash on collection from Bath

The build is as follows

Frame: 1996 Kona Hei Hei 17" (frame number B17541)
Fork: Fox F80RLT (air fork with lock-out and rebound adjustment)
Rims: Sun CR18 (double walled + eyletted black)
Hubs: Hope Ti glide (black/Titanium)
Spokes: Plain gauge (stainless)
Quick Release skewers: Easton Black (pictured with Tune qr's but I'm keeping these)
Handle Bar: Titec Titanium (118 Butted)
Grips: Vavert Lock-on
Bar ends: Medium stubbie Titanium
Stem: 4 Bolt 1-1/8th Titanium
Seatpin: 2 bolt 27.2 Titanium
seat post is shimmed with a USE shim as origional aluminium shim was rubbish)
Seat Clamp: Campagnolo offset slot Black (allen key)
Headset: Chris King 1-1/8th Black
Saddle: WTB Rocket V or Charge spoon - let me know which you want.
Shifters: Rapid fire XTR ST-M950 (STI)
Brake Levers: XTR ST-M950 (STI)
Brakes: V brake XTR
Brake Pads: Ashima insert with mud shoval tip
Chain Set: XTR M952 175mm 46-34-24
Bottom Bracket: XTR M952
Front Mec: XTR M960
Rear Mec: XTR M952
Chain: Sram PC971
Cassette: XT 11-30
Tyres: Continental Mountain King 2.2 Pair (pretty warn) & Panaracer Fire XC 1.8 Pair (good condition) you get both.
innertubes: presta valve
Pedals: none
Gear and Brake cables are Gore sealed type but around 2 years old iirc.

So here's the rub...

When I got this frame from the states it was pretty mint. I promptly went and rode it in Burrington and boshed a 'baby head' rock into the down tube (I remember feeling quite smug thinking that my titanium steed would be completely unaffected)... the baby head has dented the frame it also looks like a crack in the dent. I'm not sure if it is a crack?

I have been riding the bike like this for the past couple of years and had no problems, no noise, no clicking and no change to the impact area.
But as with everything in life your mialage might vary.
You need to be happy with that if you wish to buy... this bike is not mint.

Postage mainland UK: Free
Postage to rest of world will be evaluated on a case by case basis
(I'd imagine around £70 for most of europe)

I'll also throw in a Titanium ridged fork and an XTR V-brake too if you like such things.

it pains me to see how many people are forced to part with their much loved bikes when these little critters wriggle their way out into our world!!!
